Pumpkin Pie
Made with fresh pumpkin!!!!
- 1 1/2 cups mashed pumpkin
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 to 1 1/4 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 3 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 16 oz (2 cups) evaporated milk
- 1 nine inch uncooked pie crust
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Thoroughly pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices.
- Blend in eggs, milk and evaporated milk.
- Once blended, pour into pie crust.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife insert in center comes out clean.
- Let cool on wire rack.
